Organisational Counselling

Organisations involve individuals interacting with each other — as colleagues, employees and managers — and with others outside the organisation.

The demands of organisational life can result in unconscious defences unexpectedly being revived, leading to inappropriate and potentially damaging behaviour. Over time, these problems can generate a damaging organisational culture that becomes deeply embedded.

Counselling within organisations therefore aims

to help individuals understand how organisational life affects them, and those around them, and how this can result in challenging feelings and behaviours

to help senior management understand how a corporate culture develops, how they can influence it within their own organisation, and therefore how to address any existing problems and foster new, beneficial behaviour.

Fees for organisational counselling depend on the nature of the programme agreed to be undertaken.
